Our Home was built on a simple idea: when clinicians are supported, they do their best work. When they do their best work, children and families get the care they deserve.
So we protect our team's time, keep our caseloads reasonable, and give everyone room to actually think about the kids they serve. That is not a perk. It is the whole point, and it is the reason our families feel the difference the moment they walk in.
Our clinicians bring years of specialized experience, many with 5 to 10 or more years in the field. More importantly, they bring genuine delight in the children they work with.

Stevie Burciaga, MS, CCC-SLP
Owner and Speech-Language Pathologist
Stevie has spent 15 years in speech-language pathology, working with everyone from infants only hours old in the NICU to adults in hospitals and nursing homes. Most of her career has been spent alongside Autistic children and their families, and that work shaped everything about how Our Home runs. She opened this practice because she wanted a place where clinicians could thrive, believing that therapists who feel supported have more to give the children in front of them. She also teaches in CMSD programs, including SLPA, undergraduate, and graduate courses. Outside the office, she is a boy mom and a dog mom, usually found at one of her kids' sporting events or with a book in her hand.
Merceades Green, MS, CCC-SLP
Speech-Language Pathologist
Merceades is a clinical supervisor at OHPT. She is passionate about early intervention, complex speech sound disorders, and has a burgeoning interest in myofunctional disorders and intervention. Merceades has had the privilege of starting her career in the medical setting, working as part of an outpatient pediatric team, delivering adult inpatient/acute care at a level II trauma center and a comprehensive stroke center, and being an active member of a multidisciplinary high risk infant clinic. In her free time, Merceades is an animal enthusiast, with 1 Doberman, 3 snakes, and hopes for a second Savannah Monitor. If she could have it her way, she would spend her days shifting between playing video games and watching Star Trek with her husband, lifting, reading, listening to live music, and her favorite hobby of all, eating good food. She is thrilled to have the opportunity to make a difference.
Bree Goelze, SLPA
Speech-Language Pathologist Assistant
Bree Goelze has been a Speech-Language Pathology Assistant since 2021, providing speech and language support to children and young adults with various communication needs. She is passionate about helping children build confidence, develop their communication skills, and feel successful in therapy.
As a mom of four boys, Bree understands the importance of patience, connection, and making therapy a positive experience for both children and their families. She enjoys creating fun, engaging activities tailored to each child’s individual needs and interests.
Outside of speech therapy, Bree is the founder and director of Miss Extraordinaire, an inclusive nonprofit focused on celebrating individuals of all ages and abilities. She brings her passion for inclusion, encouragement, and advocacy into everything she does.
Angie Ramirez, MS, CCC-SLP
Speech-Language Pathologist
Angie Ramirez is a Speech-Language Pathologist who has been practicing since 2019. She is passionate about supporting children and their families through all stages of development. Throughout her career, Angie has spent much of her time working with children who have complex and severe communication needs, as well as those experiencing feeding and swallowing difficulties.
She believes that every child is so much more than a diagnosis, a label, or a list of challenges. Her practice is rooted in neurodiversity-affirming care, honoring each child’s individual strengths, preferences, communication styles, and unique way of experiencing the world. Her goal is to help each child discover and grow their own way of communicating while ensuring they feel seen, valued, and truly heard.
Angie takes a family-centered, child-led approach to therapy and believes that families are an essential part of the therapeutic process. She strives to create a space where parents and caregivers feel empowered to participate in sessions, understand their child’s needs, and apply therapeutic strategies in everyday life.
Outside of therapy, Angie loves spending time with her husband, their baby boy, Graham, and their two Goldendoodles, Winnie and Oakley. As a family, they love being outdoors, exploring new places, and making memories together.

Ashley Vieck, MA, CCC-SLP
Speech-Language Pathologist
Ashley is a Michigan State University graduate with experience across nearly every stage of life, from young children and school-aged students to adults navigating complex neurological diagnoses and older adults in memory care and senior living communities. Her background spans schools, private practice, inpatient and outpatient rehabilitation, post-acute care, home health and hospice, and assisted and independent living settings.
Throughout her career, Ashley has worked with children and adults with Autism, cerebral palsy, Down syndrome, Fragile X syndrome, intellectual disability, developmental delay, language disorders, speech sound disorders, social communication needs, stroke, traumatic brain injury, Parkinson’s disease, concussion, and other neurological and neurodevelopmental conditions. She has a particular passion for neurorehabilitation and is endlessly fascinated by the brain, communication, and the ways meaningful therapy can impact a person’s confidence, independence, and quality of life.
What she loves most about speech-language pathology is getting to be part of the bigger picture. Whether that means watching a student come out of their shell and find their voice, helping a patient regain a skill they thought they had lost, or supporting families through meaningful progress along the way. Her experience also includes developing speech pathology programs and resources, building clinical systems, and mentoring other clinicians.
A lifelong Michigander, Ashley is a dog mom to Boone and Lua and an adventurous soul at heart. Outside of work, she loves traveling, spending time outdoors with her husband and pups, planning her next adventure (or someone else’s as a travel advisor) and finding time for pottery and other creative projects.
Ingrid Gonzalez, SLPA
Speech-Language Pathologist Assistant
Ingrid is a bilingual Speech-Language Pathologist Assistant who loves working with children and helping them grow their communication skills. She is currently continuing her education in Speech-Language Pathology with the goal of becoming a Speech-Language Pathologist. As a bilingual clinician, she has seen the importance of having professionals who can better connect with and support bilingual children and their families, which is something she hopes to continue doing as an SLP. She enjoys making therapy fun and engaging while helping each child work toward their individual goals. Her favorite part of being an SLPA is seeing the progress, even in the little moments, and getting to celebrate those accomplishments with the children and their families.
Baylie Conrad, SLPA
Speech-Language Pathologist Assistant
Baylie is a Speech-Language Pathologist Assistant who finds joy in helping kids and families find their voice — in whatever way works best for them. Before speech therapy, she worked across various fields, many of which fueled her love for connecting with families and children. She believes every child is capable of so much, and loves celebrating every win along the way, big or small! Outside the therapy room, you'll find her on a trail run, baking something new, or cheering on her favorite sports teams.
